If you run a WooCommerce store, you already know how much time goes into creating new product listings – copying titles, writing descriptions, resizing images, tracking down the right price. Product URL Importer for WooCommerce is a lightweight plugin built to remove that repetitive work: give it one or more product URLs, and it creates matching products in your store automatically.
What the plugin does
Once activated, the plugin adds a new “Import from URL” page under the WooCommerce menu. You simply paste in the URLs of the products you want to bring into your store – one per line – and the plugin does the rest. For each URL, it automatically detects and imports:
- Title
- Description
- Price
- Main product image
- Full image gallery – not just a single photo
- SKU, when available
Because each URL is processed as its own request, a large batch import won’t be lost if a single link happens to fail. You can also choose whether new products are created as Draft or Published, and assign them directly to a category during import. Leaving products as drafts is recommended, so you can review and fine-tune details – especially price, tax settings, and category – before they go live on your store.
After an import runs, each URL in the results list is marked clearly:
- ✅ Success – the product was created with all details
- ⚠️ Success without price – the product was created, but a price couldn’t be detected and needs to be set manually
- ❌ Failure – the import didn’t succeed for that URL
Next to each result, a direct edit link takes you straight to the new product, so reviewing a whole batch of imports is quick.
See It in Action
A note on copyright: the plugin should only be used on product pages you have the right to import content from – your own eshops, a supplier feed, or a source you have a licensed partnership with. Copying descriptions or photos from competing eshops without permission may infringe copyright or that site’s terms of use. Responsibility for how the tool is used lies with the store owner.
Note: some eshops – usually large chains – actively block automated access to their product pages and do not allow data to be retrieved this way; in that case the import will fail for that URL.

Licensing
Product URL Importer for WooCommerce is licensed with a simple, one-time model:
90 € (excluding VAT), paid once, for full lifetime use. The license covers one (1) site/domain (e.g. www.my-store.com).
There are no recurring fees and no subscription – you pay once and use the plugin on that domain for as long as you like. Activation is tied to your site’s domain: the plugin’s Import from URL page displays the domain that needs to be sent in to receive your activation code.
